Whereas the Secret of the Stole is coming along nicely, I had a major "burp" in this one this morning. My dear, darling, lovable, feisty Ashley found a way unto the dining room table in her never ending pursuit of the cat. I guess she got distracted...
At this point, I don't know what I'm going to do. I've managed to get quite a bit rewound and there are still several sections for easy rewinding, but I've hit a major snag. I think I will work on it off & on and restart the project when my Knit Picks order comes in.
I ordered Knit Picks Gossamer in the Caribbean colorway to make another of these. It is currently being processed, so we will see when it gets here.
This has not been a particularly good day knitting-wise. :-/

Your SOTS looks great!!! I feel so sorry for you with your Mystic Waters yarn. That happened with a stole I had started before all these KAL when my yorkie decided to play catch. :( I lost some but after much crying, cursing and work I saved most of it. It is what I'm using for Mystic Waters now.
Thanks, Peggy. I did just get Wrapped in Comfort and there are several things I could use this wool on, but haven't decided yet. Lots will depend on how much I can salvage.
What a tangled web! Thanks for sharing, makes my minor tangle insignificant in comparison. It is a beautiful colour, too. Good luck with the salvage operation!
Oh, wow. Our hound Woody did a very similar thing the other day, but not in laceweight. And boy, am I glad. Good luck!!
