Alternating
wedges make 8 plain and 8 lacy. Bind off all in corresponding color. Sew seam
together. Using CO tail, weave yellow around “hole” and pull closed.
With Green
and Size F crochet hook, reverse crochet around edge of blanket, hooking into
the backside of the slipped stitch.
With work
flat, Green yarn and Size G, slip crochet a chain around the yellow circle.
Weave in
all ends. Block.
Make it your own
- You can make all wedges plain, or all wedges lacy.
- Make it bigger. This is designed with a decrease of 3 stitches each row. If you enlarge, you will need to make adjustments to the lacy section – for every YO you add, you must add a K2T.
- Using thinner yarn and larger needles, make a shawl.
